Dear delegates, faculty advisors, and guests,

On behalf of the DalMUN Secretariat and organizing team, it is my absolute pleasure to welcome you to the 2nd iteration of Dalhousie’s Model United Nations conference. Following the huge success of last year’s conference, we’re only moving onward and upward from here!

 

At its core, DalMUN is about community. It is a space for us to come together, share ideas, and engage in meaningful debate with peers just as passionate about diplomacy and global affairs as you are.

 

This conference is truly built for everyone, whether you are stepping into a committee room for the first time or returning as an experienced delegate. Over the course of the weekend, you will be pushed to think outside the box and tackle high-stakes crises, whether that be navigating humanity’s survival and climate change mitigation, or manoeuvring boardroom politics to salvage Formula 1’s reputation. We are so excited to welcome you to our conference, and we cannot wait to see the creativity, collaboration, and drive you bring to the debate.
